In 1999, Luca Menci founded the engineering company, Menci Software, specialising in remote aerial and satellite measurement. During this time, he collaborated on many projects with famous Italian universities and exported his technology throughout the world. His first foray into golf, came in 2016, when he founded a new company named Precision. It was then he produced Capto, a device designed to help golfers analyse their putting strokes, using a high-frequency inertial system.
Capto's exceptional technology can determine where the putter is in 3D space, gathering data never captured before. It is a lightweight and waterproof sensor that uses Wi-Fi to connect to software, gathering extensive and immaculately presented putting stroke data. This is the first time that this type of putting analysis technology has been introduced in golf, being described as a game changer by many of the world's top coaches.

Capto I believe it’s one of the most innovative putting technologies that has come to the market in the last few years. As a coach the ability to measure my students out on the green across a variety of different putts with different distances and different breaks... I think it’s invaluable!
Being able to go out on the golf course and measure the player into the environment they are performing it’s fantastic also. It’s a very versatile and functional device. It’s light weight and the student will hardly realise it’s on the golf club.
If you are a player that is looking to get better I definitely recommend to see a Capto Coach and if you are a coach looking to improve your putting coaching then I would certainly recommend that you get a Capto as well.
